I am a freelance cinematographer specializing in wildlife camera trapping, long lens blind work, and drone cinematography.

Over the past few years, I filmed on several Fin and Fur Films features, including The American Southwest, American Lion, and Deep in the Heart Two. Currently, I’m partnering with Cambush camera trapping systems on a black bear project in New Mexico. I am also currently a DP for a new PBS nature series. I have done camera work for National Geographic, PBS, the National Park Service, and numerous independent production companies. In addition to wildlife, I also film skiing, rock climbing, and other adventure sports.

I hold bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Visual Arts, and Biology, and a master’s degree in Film and Media Production with a concentration in Environmental and Wildlife Filmmaking from American University. My career began with shooting wildlife and expedition films for the National Park Service in remote Alaska, where I gained extensive experience living and working around bears.

I grew up in northern New Mexico at 7,000 feet, where I first discovered my passion for the outdoors. The Rocky Mountains and the beautiful desert light were my early inspirations. I am an FAA-certified drone pilot, have Level I Avalanche Safety training, and have been riding horses my entire life. Currently based in New Mexico, I am willing to travel to any location across the globe.
